The IEEE is a worldwide professional association with its corporate office located at New York. IEEE Student Branch of College of Engineering Trikaripur was established in 2013, since its time of inception our SB actively organized numerous events, both inter college and intra college and even participated in events both national and international level. Our SB has Power and Energy Society (2016) and Industry Application Society (2020). We also have a Women in Engineering affinity group to empower and motivate the juvenile women. Our student branch is actively organizing and participating in events all around the Kerala Section. We have members from all the departments (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, CE). IEEE SB CETkr focuses on engraving the students within the college in both technical and creative skill to bring innovative ideas within the SB and outside the SB to ensure the accomplishment of ‘advancing technology and humanity’.

The student branch hosted technical, non-technical and other intra college and inter college events. Which was a door to opportunities, in showcasing their hidden talents and to bring about astonishing works. Meetings were organized monthly. Every year we conducted a wide variety of technical and non-technical events including workshops, debate, quiz, talks and different types of competitive contests. IEEE converges us to enhancements of advancing and innovative modern technologies and ideas.

The SB through these events focus on bringing young competitive, creative, and confident engineers to face the challenges and critics in the reality by setting forth admirable quality technical and managerial programs with excellent volunteering exposure. Keenly molding students with humanity and professional ethics to maintain quality professionalism. In brief IEEE SB CETkr entitled its great role in molding engineers with excellency of professionalism.
